The Oxford Matriculation Higher Secondary School network was established in 1976 by Mrs. Shyamala Venkatesan, affectionately known as 'Kalvi Thai' (Mother of Education). Starting with just seven students in Pudur, Sivaganga, the institution has grown to include multiple branches, including those in Soorakulam and Anaimalai.
